Group Visits

Whittlesey Museum welcomes booked school parties and is able to work with teachers to provide specifically tailored activities to support the desired curriculum, given notice.

School visits may be arranged outside normal museum opening hours by emailing the Curator Jennifer Barback at whittleseymuseum@gmail.com

School visits are usually charged at £1 per pupil with no charge for accompanying adults.

Recent school themes have included:

The Romans (with replica objects and costume)

World War 2: Home Front (with real museum objects to handle)

World War 2: Whittlesey Emergency Plan (using the real wartime invasion plan for Whittlesey as a basis for discussion)

Treasure (with storytelling/props and real museum objects to view)
